Bordeaux - Médoc - Red Wine -In this 2020 vintage, Chateau Potensac is a charming wine, a very fine balance between the concentration of ripe fruit and an acidity that gives the wine a lovely freshness.
To the eye, the colour is an intense red with purple highlights.On the palate, the attack is greedy, with dense, concentrated fruit, combined with good length and plenty of freshness. The finish is elegant with tannins that are already accessible.A wine from the Médoc Classique, vinified by a team that masters everything ... Owned by the Delon family, who also own Léoville Las Cases and Clos du Marquis.
the blend of the 2020 vintage is made up of 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.
The wine was aged for 12 months in oak barrels, 34% of which were new.
The 12bouteilles advice : A Médoc vinified like a Cru classé, great value for money. Decant the bottle at least 3 hours before serving and serve chilled at around 18°c. It goes wonderfully with red meats and cheeses.
