Château Pichon Baron 2014

Château Pichon Baron 2014
Appellation : Pauillac
Classification : 2ème Cru Classé
Chateau Pichon-Longueville Baron 2014 is an exceptional vintage, the wines are dense powerful and harmonious. Chateau Pichon Baron is a more structured wine, more concentrated than its illustrious neighbor Pichon Lalande.
The nose is floral and fruity. The nose dominated by cherry red fruits, blackcurrant. Then there are woody, toasty and slightly vanilla aromas.
The palate is dense, full and still tannic although the latter are refined.
This 2014 has a great aging potential that looks like 2010.

Wine Spectator : 93/100
Wine Advocate : 94/100
Robert Parker
"There are wonderful aromas of blackberry, cedar and graphite that emanate from this Pauillac and express all its typicality. The palate is medium-bodied with impressive depth and concentration.
This one is supported by a superb freshness and a remarkable precision in the final. "
