Château Pedesclaux 2012

Château Pedesclaux 2012 is now ready to drink.
Taken over by the Château d'Issan team since its acquisition by Jacky Lorenzetti, the 2012 vintage of Château Pedesclaux is a beautiful bottle, a great success.
The color is a deep garnet red. Its bright nose reveals notes of fresh red fruits (currants and burlat cherries) and white fruits such as pear, enhanced by aromas of cocoa, liquorice and hearth of fireplace. The mouth is engaging with a frank and explosive attack prolonged by suave and well coated tannins. The finish, a beautiful freshness, presents itself on notes of cherry jam and caramel pudding.
Robert Parker Wine Advocate: 91-93 / 100 "The wine reveals notes of creme de cassis typical of Pauillac combined with vanillin, espresso and white chocolate. Medium to powerful, rich in body, this cuvée can very well drink for 15-20 years. "
The advice of 12bouteille: An excellent 2012 and above all excellent value for money among the Pauillac Crus Classé.
