Château Pavie Macquin 2011
Bordeaux - Saint-Émilion - 1er Cru Classé - Red Wine -What a wonder, a real success this Château Pavie-Macquin 2011. We re-tasted the wines in March 2016, they are even better than in our previous tastings. They begin to open up and blossom fully.
This is one of the most beautiful bottles of the 2011 vintage in Saint-Émilion a wonderful wine today that you can keep for 10 years. On a pheasant or game bird it's a marvel.
The wines are round, fat, powerful, the tannins of Cabernet Sauvignon are present but not drying. Intense black fruit notes due to the dominant Merlot of this first Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion.
The wine must be carafe at least 2 hours before serving at a temperature of 16-17 ° C, it will continue to open in your glass. This bottle will also be magical on a greasy time during your Christmas meal.
