Château Mouton Rothschild 2005
Bordeaux - Pauillac - 1er Cru Classé - Red Wine -An Extra-Ordinary vintage in Pauillac, a Fantastic 1st Cru Classé. Here is what we can say about this Château Mouton Rothschild 2005 which is one of the very very huge bottles of the 1st Cru Classé of 1855.
The color is deep dark, the nose is complex, slightly woody with nice vanilla notes and a minty touch bringing a particularly pleasant freshness. On the palate, the power and the amplitude of the wine are obviously retained, the tannins are dense, greedy, the finish is of a length and an incredible precision. A fantastic bottle.
The advice of 12bouteilles: If it has a vintage Château Mouton Rothschild to have in cellar today for us, it is for us this vintage 2005, it is a fantastic wine at the height of the history and the reputation of the property. Serve it on a piece of meat with a nice maturation, accompanied by a truffle risotto
