Tasting Notes
Appearance: deep, brilliant purple.
Nose: expressive and complex with ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry), floral violet notes, fine spices, cedar and a subtle mineral touch.
Palate: broad and harmonious, supported by fine-grained, well-integrated tannins. Dense yet balanced by saline freshness typical of Margaux. Long, precise and persistent finish.
Terroir & Blend
Deep gravel soils of Margaux over clay-limestone subsoils provide excellent drainage and even ripening. Blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a touch of Petit Verdot, delivering structure, complexity and longevity.
Winemaking & Aging
Hand-harvested grapes with strict selection. Parcel-by-parcel vinification with controlled macerations to extract finesse and depth. Aged in French oak barrels with a carefully calibrated proportion of new oak, enhancing structure without overshadowing fruit purity.
Food Pairings
Perfect with grilled or roasted red meats, dry-aged beef, lamb, game birds or refined sauced dishes. Serve at 60–64 °F (16–18 °C). Decant for 2 hours when young.
