Château Malartic-Lagravière, Crus Classés de Graves is a magnificent estate of 53 hectares located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Owned by the Bonnie family since 1998, the prestige of the Château's wines is no longer to be certified.
From year to year, the estate continues to excel as this Château Malartic-Lagravière Rouge 2016 is a rare vintage called "exceptional"!
From a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, this 2016 vintage is adorned with an intense purple color.
Its nose is an aromatic bouquet mixing black fruits (blackberries, blueberries, blackcurrant) and oak on notes of spices and mint, characteristics of the estate.
In the mouth, the attack is dense, very creamy. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity and delicious fruity flavors. The tannins are of great finesse introducing a long, tight and fresh finish.
A lot of harmony and generosity in this 2016 vintages of Château Malartic-Lagravière!
The advice of 12bouteilles: We advise you to serve it between 17-18 ° and to open it 1 hour before the tasting.
"A subtle search for fruit and finesse makes it a great success. It is part of the new era of this classified growth."- Wine Review of France
"So persistent in the mouth that you can not wait to take another sip." - Robert Parker
