Château Lynch Moussas 2017

Bordeaux - Pauillac - 5e Cru Classé - Red Wine -

Château Lynch Moussas is a Pauillac 5ème Cru Classé owned by the Casteja family.

The 2017 vintage is a ready to drink vintage in Bordeaux and Pauillac. Château Lynch Moussas is no exception to the rule. The property extends over 45 hectares planted with 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot on one of the richest soils in Pauillac.

Wine Advocate (Robert Parker) Tasting Notes: 90-91/100
Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Lynch Moussas opens with herbal notes of wild sage and bay leaves over a core of warm blackcurrant, redcurrant jelly, cedar chest and pencil shavings. The medium-bodied palate is fairly chewy, with notable oak and just enough fruit, finishing with an invigorating herbal lift.

Tip for 12 bottles: Decant 1 to 2 hours before tasting. Serve it as an accompaniment to grilled meats or a cheese platter.
