The color is intense, deep, dense.
The nose is dominated by black fruits then emerges a fine oaky and vanilla woody. In the mouth the attack is frank, ample very balanced. Tannins are powerful without being astringent. The wine is of great length in the mouth.
A beautiful bottle that will ensure many years in your cellar but also full of charm for lovers of young wines of which I am a part.
The advice of 12bouteilles: This is a nice quality/price rate that deserves to be accompanied by a tasty dish such as a rack of lamb or roast game. Do not hesitate to decant at least 1 hour before tasting.
About the Château:
Located in Pauillac on the former hamlet of Bages, formerly owned by the Lynch family, the 5 th vintage Château Lynch-Bages has been owned by the Cazes family for three generations and is successfully piloting it. This magnificent estate owes its name to the ancient hamlet of Bages, which for centuries has been home to generations of wine growers.
Lynch-Bages is now a reference in Bordeaux, still robust, it is difficult for an amateur not to own a few bottles of this vintage.
