Bordeaux - Pessac-Leognan - Cru Classé - Red Wine -Château les Carmes Haut Brion 2020 vintage is a balanced, powerful and rich wine with a lot of freshness.
The grapes produced were ripe, rich and very aromatic.
To the eye, the color is deep red almost black with purple reflections.
On the nose, red fruits emerge, such as raspberry, then woody and spicy notes.
On the palate, the attack is fresh, fruity and harmonious ending with silky tannins.
Blend : 40% Cabernet Franc, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot.
Ageing : 85% in new French oak barrels, 7% in tuns and 8% in terracotta jars.
The advice of 12bouteilles : This bottle is to be forgotten for a few years in your cellar, time will improve it! If you want to taste it, decant the bottle at least 6 hours before serving it. It will go wonderfully with your red meats and cheeses.
