Château Léoville Poyferré 2013

Bordeaux - Saint-Julien - 2e Cru Classé - Red Wine -

Château Léoville Poyferré 2013 is one of the great successes of the vintage deemed difficult in Bordeaux. This is one of our favorites in this vintage, one of the most remarkable bottles of Saint Julien and Medoc in general. A magnificent 2nd Cru Classé!

The color is dark, intense and beautiful; the nose is fruity, ripe and creamy. the mouth is suave, very fruity, supported by fine tannins and a beautiful aromatic length.

The 2013 vintage comes from an assemblage: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc.

Historical property of the Cuvelier Family, over the last 20 years, the work of Didier Cuvelier at the head of the property has made it one of the jewels of the Médoc, whose ample and powerful wines are a reference every year.

The advice of 12bouteilles: Despite its difficult reputation, the 2013 vintage has given Bordeaux real pleasure wines. It provides access to the best wines at the best prices, which is not always the case in great vintages. Indulge yourself with the wines of Château Léoville Poyferré 2013, they are perfect to drink during the next 5-7 years and sublimate any meat.
