Petit Lion du Marquis de Las Cases 2020

Bordeaux - Saint-Julien - 2nd Wine - Red Wine -

In this 2020 vintage, Petit Lion du Marquis de Léoville Las Cases is a round, fat wine with a lovely, flavoursome finish with tannins that are still very present.
The colour offers a very beautiful intense red colour
The nose reveals a magnificent freshness combining with powerful ripe black fruit aromas
The palate offers a tannic structure characteristic of Léoville Las Cases wines and the finesse typical of this magnificent terroir.

The blend for the 2020 vintage is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc.

Maturing for the 2020 vintage was 10 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which were new.

Often considered a 1er Cru Classé by knowledgeable wine lovers, the Château Léoville is by surface area the largest of the three châteaux named "Léoville". This Petit Lion du Marquis de Las Cases 2020 is a blended wine and a great of the appellation Saint-Julien

The 12bouteilles advice : Open this bottle at least 3 hours before tasting, serve it chilled at around 17°C. It will be delicious with grilled red meat.
