The dress has a beautiful dark color, its nose delivers notes of black cherry liqueur, vanilla and spring flowers. In the mouth, the attachment is rich, supple and medium-bodied, with excellent concentration and maturity. He should drink well for 10-15 years.
The advice of 12bouteilles: this magnificent Saint-Julien can drink now or converse a decade in cellar (2013 - 2028).
"The second wine of Leoville Las Cases, the 2012 Le Petit Lion, has a dense ruby/purple color, loads of tannin, undeniable minerality, blackcurrants and earth. It is medium-bodied, firm and austere, but should age for 10-15 more years and soften somewhat." - Wine Advocate-Parker 85+
"Good chewy tannins with currants and blueberries. Medium body, integrated and refined. Well done for a second wine in this vintage. From Leoville Las Cases." - James Suckling 88
