Big crush for Château Latour Martillac 2012, one of the best Pessac Léognan of this 2012 vintage. A great success signed by Jean Kressman and his family.

It is a medium-bodied wine with a good concentration. The color is intense purple, the nose of black fruits reveals hints of blackberries, cassis and blueberries highlighted by hints of liquorice. On the palate tannins are present but ripe, the final is a breathtaking length.

The advice of 12bouteilles: Open the 1 hour before the tasting, decant it at the time of serving. It was tasted with a leg of lamb it is a very successful met-wine agreement.
