Château Latour Martillac Rouge 2016

Château Latour Martillac 2016, Grand Cru Classé de Graves, is a red wine produced on the Pessac-Léognan appellation, in the Bordeaux region. Owned by the Kressmann family since 1871, Château Latour Martillac owes its name to the Tower which stands in the courtyard of the castle. From a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, this 2016 vintage is a very seductive Pessac-Léognan!
This 2016 vintage Château Latour Martillac is adorned with a beautiful deep red color. The first nose is discreet but the second releases intense fruity aromas of blackberries, raspberries with slight notes of black olives. On the palate, the attack is medium-bodied with tannins both powerful, soft and fine. The palate reveals delicious aromas of blackberries and blueberries accompanied by fine notes of sea salt and black pepper. The finish offers a nice concentration and a lot of freshness.
Château Latour Martillac 2016 is a pleasure wine that displays a prodigious precision, demonstrating with brilliance the sophistication of the Bordeaux terroir. A great success!
The advice of 12bouteilles: A remarkable 2016 vintage that guarantees a lot of fun in a few years. Open it at least 1 hour before serving it and serve it between 16°C and 18°C.
