Château la Mondotte 2007
Becoming 1st Grand Cru Classé in 2012, Château La Mondotte is a property of Stephan Van Niepperg. Château La Mondotte 2007 is unique. Discover this gems of Saint Emilion, a rare bottle, since the production is minimal, there were only 270 cases in 2007!
The 2007 vintage was harvested twice, the Merlot first and then the Cabernet Franc a few days later. This vintage has a beautiful strong color, a nose of spices, tobacco and incense. Very pure, the entry in the mouth is beautiful, very nice fruity notes supported by a very present fat. The tannins, round and supple, support a beautiful freshness.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Rare and unique, this bottle must be opened and decanted at least one hour before tasting. Serve with stuffed poultry and fall vegetable.
