Released in September 2025 by the château after 10 years in the bottle, Château la Mission Haut Brion 2014 is one of the great wines of the vintage, rated 98/100 by James Suckling.
This 2014 vintage seduced us with its balance between crisp fruit, well-integrated tannins, and a beautiful acidity, a guarantee of longevity for this bottle.
Visually, the color is an intense red with highlights that are just beginning to appear.
On the nose, black fruits emerge: blueberries, cherries, followed by woody and vanilla notes.
On the palate, the attack is full-bodied, very fruity, combined with a beautiful freshness, followed by a beautiful, harmonious length and ripe, already melted tannins.
The bottle is fantastic to drink today.
The Blend of the 2014 vintage is made of 54% de Merlot , 45% de Cabernet Sauvignon et 1% de Cabernet Franc .
Aging : 100% in barrels for 15 months, including 75% new barrels
Château la Mission Haut Brion is part of the Clarence Dillon estates with Chateau Haut Brion, also in Pessac Léognan and Chateau Quintus in Saint Emilion.
