Bordeaux - Pessac-Leognan - Cru Classé - Red Wine -Chateau La Louvière red in this 2020 vintage is a balanced, powerful and rich wine with lots of freshness.
The grapes produced were ripe, rich and very aromatic.To the eye, the colour is a deep red, almost black, with violet highlights
The nose is dominated by black fruits such as blackberry and bilberry, followed by woody and spicy notes
On the palate, the attack is fresh, fruity and harmonious, finishing with silky tannins.
The blend for the 2020 vintage is 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wines were aged for 12 months 10% in terracotta amphorae and 90% in French oak barrels, half of which were new.
The 12bouteilles advice : This bottle is already delicious to drink now, decant the bottle at least 2 hours before serving. It will go wonderfully with your red meats and cheeses.
