Château Haut Marbuzet 2017

Bordeaux - Saint-Estèphe - Cru Bourgeois - Red Wine -

Château Haut Marbuzet is a Cru Bourgeois from the Saint Estèphe appellation, this 2017 vintage of Château Haut Marbuzet is a success.
Henri Dubosq, current owner of the vineyard, produces a wine with a personalized and voluptuous style, based on a vinification favoring the smoothness of the tannins due to the high proportion of Merlot, a 100% aging in new oak barrels. For this, the grape variety is made up of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 40% Merlot. These wines are powerful and spicy, seduce by the flexibility of its fruit and its flamboyant style with characteristic exotic aromas.

Wine Advocate-Parker : 84/100
The 2017 Haut-Marbuzet is medium to deep garnet-purple colored with a nose of baked red and black currants, kirsch and cedar with dried herbs and earth notions. The palate is medium-bodied, chewy, lean and finishes short.

The advice of 12bouteilles : Decant the bottle one hour before tasting it, serve between 17 ° C as an accompaniment to red meat.
