This is a wine of Saint Estèphe powerful, long on the palate with well-presented tannins.
The colour is intense red, the nose gives off aromas of black fruit then toast and finally wood.
On the palate, the attack is rich, frank and opulent. The finish is woody, with elegant tannins that will mellow with bottle age;
The blend of the 2020 vintage is made up of 55% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.
The 12bottle suggestion : Decant this bottle at least 2 hours before tasting, keep it in a cool place to serve at 18°C, this still young wine will go wonderfully with all your red meats, game and cheese platters.
In the appellation Saint-Estèphe, you can also discover Chateau Lafon Rochet, Château Montrose, Château Calon-Ségur, Château Phélan-Ségur or Château Cos d'Estournel.
