The Château Haut Marbuzet, classified Cru Bourgeois of Saint-Estèphe in 2003, is the property of the Duboscq family, it is located at a place called Marbuzet between Clos d'Estournel and Montrose. Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, this 2016 Marbuzet Top is one of the best early varieties of its appellation.
This 2016 vintage is the perfect representation of what we like in the soil of Saint-Estèphe.
The dress is adorned with a beautiful purple color with purple hues. The nose releases intense aromas of ripe red berries, crème de cassis and Kirsch with a nice freshness. The palate, with a nice balance, reveals a crisp acidity on aromas marked with black fruits, tobacco and white pepper. The tannins are silky and melting, bringing a final of great freshness.
An already delicious Saint-Estèphe that promises to be absolutely fabulous in a few years.
The advice of 12bouteilles: The wines of Château Haut Marbuzet are great wines of aging (Apogee 2020-2045). This 2016 vintage will seduce lovers of powerful wines! Open it 1h before tasting it. To be served at 17 ° C with game or rabbit with mustard.
