Château Giscours 2011
Bordeaux - Margaux - 3e Cru Classé - Red Wine -This 2011 vintage of Château Giscours, was first decried during its first release, after the magnificent 2009 and 2010, but today it is considered as one of the great wines of the Château, not to be missed.
This Château Giscours 2011, 3rd Cru Classé of the Margaux appellation, is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Vinified in a traditional way for 15 to 18 months. A sensual and elegant wine that best represents the wines of the Margaux appellation.
Château Giscours 2011 is not a powerful and concentrated wine but it is very balanced, full of charm and above all absolutely delicious. Its color is purple, the nose gives off aromas of black fruits and a sweet vanilla. On the palate it is silky, supple with very fine and elegant tannins. A real Margaux.
The advice of 12bouteilles: It is a still young wine that it will be wise to decant 2 hours before enjoying it with a nice rib of beef.
