Château Fleur Cardinale 2022 delivers a beautifully controlled, sun-kissed expression of Saint-Émilion. This renowned Grand Cru Classé combines ripe fruit intensity, silky tannins and well-integrated freshness. The 2022 vintage highlights the depth of the clay-limestone terroir and the estate’s precise, modern winemaking style.
Appearance: deep, brilliant purple.
Nose: expressive and complex with ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry), plum, violet, sweet spices, cocoa and a hint of graphite.
Palate: broad, generous and perfectly balanced. Dense, velvety texture supported by fine, ripe tannins. Freshness carries through to a long, harmonious and persistent finish.
Clay-limestone hillside soils of Saint-Émilion provide concentration and finesse. The blend is dominated by Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, delivering structure, aromatic complexity and aging potential.
Hand-harvested grapes with meticulous sorting. Parcel-by-parcel vinification in temperature-controlled vats with carefully managed macerations. Aged in French oak barrels with a significant yet well-integrated proportion of new oak, enhancing precision and depth.
Perfect with grilled or braised red meats, lamb rack, game, or refined gastronomic dishes. Serve at 60–64 °F (16–18 °C). Decant 1–2 hours when young.
Château Fleur Cardinale 2022 is a characterful and age-worthy Saint-Émilion. Enjoyable with aeration today, it will evolve beautifully over years, developing complex tertiary nuances.
