The nose gives off powerful scents of cinnamon, ripe fruit, plums, cherries then woody and vanilla.
The wine is full-bodied and elegant on the palate, revealing black fruits on the attack, followed by spices and a fine woodiness thanks to the perfect balance between acidity and tannin;
The blend for the 2020 vintage is 76% merlot, 20% cabernet franc and 4% of cabernet sauvignon.
Maturing was for 12 months 100% in new French oak barrels as well as 2 concrete amphorae.
Advice for 12bottles : Decant this bottle at least 2 hours before tasting, keep it in a cool place to serve at 18°C, this still young wine will go wonderfully with all your red meats, game and cheese platters.
