In this 2020 vintage, Petit-Figeac presents all the elegance and finesse of a great Saint Emilion wine, the second wine of Château Figeac is a gem!
The grapes produced were ripe, rich and very aromatic. The nose is dominated by black fruits, blackberries and bilberries, followed by woody and spicy notes
On the palate, the attack is straightforward, fruity and harmonious, finishing with silky tannins that have already melted away.
The 2020 vintage blend is 71% de Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The 12bouteilles advice : This bottle is best forgotten for a few years in your cellar, time will improve it! If you feel like tasting it, decant the bottle at least 6 hours before serving. It will go wonderfully well with red meats, cheeses, etc.
Château Figeac has just been awarded 1er Grand Cru classé A in the new Classement de Saint Emilion 2022.
Dans l’appellation Saint Emilion, vous pourrez aussi aimer Châteaux Angelus, Cheval Blanc, Pavie, Canon, Canon la Gaffelière, Troplong Mondot, Beau-séjour Bécot, Clos Fourtet, la Gaffelière ….
