Château Desmirail 2016
Château Desmirail, 3rd Grand Cru Classé in 1855 is the fruit of a soil of exemption, located in the south-east of the Margaux appellation, in Médoc. Since 1982, the estate is owned by the Lurton family, a large Bordeaux owner. The wines of Château Desmirail perfectly illustrate the prestige and elegance of one of the most glorious appellations in the world.
This 2016 vintage comes from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, its color is dark, violet with bright shades.
The nose of this Margaux is a fruity bouquet with aromas of blueberries, blackcurrant, black cherries and plum, accompanied by light scents of coffee. The mouth is round, fat and rich. This 2016 vintage opens with notes of ripe red fruits and sweet spices. The powerful and velvety tannins introduce an impressive long finish.
The advice of 12bouteilles: This gourmet wine can be enjoyed from 2020 until 2045, but we advise you to let it age.
