Château de Pibarnon red 2013
Provence - Bandol - Red Wine -Château de Pibarnon Rouge 2013 is a great wine from Bandol, the appellation is known for its king variety, Mourvèdre.
It is a powerful red wine, spicy and dense with aromas marked with liquorice and fruits. On the nose, a set of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), laurel, tobacco and pepper.
A long, complex and structured vintage which leaves the palate with a delicate sweetness and elegant tannins. The Château de Pibarnon Rouge 2013 stayed for 3 weeks in vatting before aging in oak barrels for 20 months.
The 2013 vintage of Château de Pibarnon red is rewarded by many tasters. Among his many distinctions, we particularly note: 90/100 by Robert Parker, 91/100 by Wine Spectator and 2 stars at Guide Hachette 2015.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Delicious to drink today, it will be able to keep at least 5 years, its potential of guard going well beyond. Decant at least 1 hour before the tasting and we recommend you to taste it on red meats or game, a good duck breast for example.
