Château D'Esclans 2021 Rosé

Provence - Côtes de Provence - Rosé wine -

the Château d'Esclans 2021 is a great high-end wine produced by Sacha Lichine, a winegrower who turned oenology upside down by making "luxury" rosé wines.

This 2021 vintage comes from Grenache (52%), Rolle (20%), Syrah (14%), Cinsault (7%) and Tibouren (7%) grapes whose vines are 50 to 80 years old.

The wines are vinified and aged for 50% in barrels (half muids) and 50% in stainless steel tanks. Aging in barrels lasts 8 months before bottling.

Its dress is very clear, with peach reflections. On the palate, there are creamy and complex notes of candied ginger, pineapple and cream.

It is a great intense and fine rosé wine, with a nice roundness.

The advice of 12bouteilles: Serve it at 10°C it will be perfect with a fatty fish.
