Bordeaux - Côtes de Bordeaux - Red Wine -In this 2020 vintage Château d'Aiguilhe consolidates its position as the leading wine of the Côtes de Castillon.
The colour is dark purple, almost black.
The nose gives off aromas of black fruit with hints of spice and wood.
The palate is rich, full with tannins that are still powerful and a fine balance. The finish is persistent, indicative of a wine for ageing.
The blend for the 2020 vintage is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.
The wine was matured in French oak barrels, 30% of which were new, for 12 months;
Château d'Aiguilhe is considered one of the most beautiful vineyards of Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux, near Saint-Émilion.
The 12bottle tip : A wine with great ageing potential that can wait a few years in your cellar. If you want to taste it we recommend decanting this bottle at least 2 hours before tasting to let the wine develop. Serve at 16°C.
