Château d'Aiguilhe 2012
Bordeaux - Côtes de Bordeaux - Red Wine -Château d'Aiguilhe is an emblematic vineyard of Côtes de Castillon. This estate, spread over 100 hectares, on the right bank of Bordeaux, is the property of the account Stephan Von Neipperg.
Blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, Château d'Aiguilhe 2012 is a delicious vintage, enjoyed as young as after a decade of storage.
This 2012 vintage is adorned with a deep garnet color. The nose delivers intense aromas of ripe fruit. Long and lively, the mouth reveals powerful and velvety tannins with a sweet woody. A rich and unctuous wine with a lot of charm.
The advice of 12bouteilles: To taste young, on the fruit or to keep in cellar 5-7 years, please serve it between 16 ° C and 18 ° C.
"One of the better wines from Castillon, this wine, from the Neipperg family, exhibits a dark ruby/purple color, nice spice, earth and red and black fruits. It is medium-bodied with light tannin and a soft underbelly. Drink it over the next 5-7 years. A sleeper." - Wine Advocate Parker
