Château Cos Labory 2016

Bordeaux - Saint-Estèphe - 5e Cru Classé - Red Wine -

The Château is a 5th Cru Classé estate in the Saint-Estèphe appellation. The estate, although little known, produces excellent wines both powerful and delicate, from a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc.

The 2016 vintage of the Château Cos Labory is adorned with a pretty garnet-red color. Its nose is an expressive bouquet with aromas of blackberry, flower and brioche. On the palate, the attack is dense and round, the tannins are fine and quite supple releasing aromas of red fruits, bramble and strawberry. It's a 2016 Primeur with a lot of elegance and a very long finish.

The advice of 12bouteilles: Château Cos Labory 2016 can remain in the cellar for decades, decant it at least 2 hours before serving it, serve it cool 17°C with red meats and delicate cheeses.
