Château Charmail 2006

Bordeaux - Haut Médoc - Cru Bourgeois - Red Wine -

Château Charmail 2006 is a beautiful bottle, which was able to improve with age. This first Château Charmail wine is made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The team keeps a lot of affection for its quality / price ratio and its vintage, today increasingly rare to detect. It is a Cru Bourgeois emblematic of the Médoc with an ideal structure. As Robert Parker says, it is "A wine curling perfection" "Charmail stands out as one of the stars of Haut Médoc" "one of the most consistent Crus Bourgeois of the last 10-15 years" and we are Okay !

This 2006 vintage has a garnet color with violet hues. Its nose is fine, complex and generous, a real bouquet of ripe grapes (merlot) with spicy flavors of ginger and cinnamon, on a woody background. In the mouth, the attack is fruity, fresh and full with tannins present, ripe and very fine. The palate seduces with its aromas of fruits and spices. A well balanced wine, the finish is good, woody and clean.

A bottle that contains a lot of charm, elegance and finesse.

The advice of 12bouteilles: To drink in all seasons, the winter with a pan-fried foie gras, the summer on a beautiful rib of beef on the barbecue. Note that it is important to open an hour before serving it to free all its aromas ...
