Château Camensac 2012

Bordeaux - Haut Médoc - Cru Classé - Red Wine -

Château de Camensac has become an exceptional product since it was vinified by the Foubet family (Chasse Spleen). Château Camensac is a Haut Médoc of 75 hectares. It is classified 5th Grand Cru of the Médoc. It belongs to the Merlaut family but also Céline Villars-Foubet, also owners of the Gruaud Larose Castles in Saint Julien and Chasse-Spleen in Moulis. Camensac wines are wines that are compared to Pauillac, with a red color. Château de Camensac 2012 is a classified grand cru, a superb vintage, a great success perfect to drink today.

Tasting note:

Dark and shiny burgundy color. The nose is clean and straight, with notes of fresh rose, cherry and black pepper. The attack is frank, the palate is creamy and stays on a silky structure. The finish is very persistent and tasty.

A very fine vintage, well balanced, with aging potential until 2022.

The advice of 12bouteilles: Decant the wine at least 1 hour before and serve it at 17 ° C.
