The nose is dominated by red fruits such as raspberry, followed by woody and vanilla notes
The palate is greedy and fruity, with good length and freshness. The finish is elegant, with silky tannins that are still very present.
Château Calon Ségur 2020 is a wine that deduced us as soon as it was presented en primeurs, a real Saint Estèphe powerful and complex to keep for many years in your cellar.
the blend is made up of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot
The wine is aged 100% in new barrels for 18 months.
The 12bottle tip : A wine that will wait a few years in your cellar but that you can already enjoy with great pleasure. Decant the bottle at least 6 hours before, serve the wine chilled at around 18°c. It will go wonderfully with red meats and cheeses.
In the appellation , you can also discover Chateau Lafon Rochet, Château Montrose, Château Phélan-Ségur, Chateau Haut-Marbuzet or Château Cos d'Estournel.
