Château Berliquet is one of the oldest vineyards in Saint-Emilion.
Today it belongs to Chanel, which already owns Château Rauzan Ségla in Margaux, Château Canon (1er grand cru Classé B de Saint Emilion) and Domaine de l'Ile de Porquerolles.
Planted on 10 hectares, the grape varieties are Merlot (70%) and Cabernet Franc (30%).
Vintage after vintage, the quality of Chateau Berliquet is recognized by Saint Emilion wine lovers, critics still classify the wine among the greatest.
On tasting, Château Berliquet 2018 has an expressive nose of ripe fruit, on the palate the attack is complex, dense and velvety, with a beautiful finish.
