Bordeaux - Pomerol - Red Wine -Château Beauregard 2022 embodies an elegant and profound expression of the Pomerol plateau in one of the vintage’s finest years. This great red wine marries finesse, rich aromatics and refined tension. Sourced from Pomerol’s characteristic clay-gravel soils, it reveals a complex aromatic profile and perfectly balanced structure.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: deep, luminous garnet.
Nose: complex and inviting with black cherry, blackberry, plum, violet floral notes, hints of truffle, cocoa, graphite and fine spices.
Palate: broad, velvety and structured. The tannins are round, very fine and elegant. Dense yet weightless core supported by saline freshness. Long finish with remarkable aromatic persistence, including dark fruit, mocha and licorice nuances.
Terroir & Blend
Rich Pomerol clay and gravel soils with excellent water-retention properties. Blend led by Merlot, complemented by a touch of Cabernet Franc for aromatic finesse, tension and structure.
Winemaking & Aging
Hand-harvested grapes, strict sorting and parcel-by-parcel vinification. Controlled macerations to extract aromatic depth while preserving freshness and elegance. Aged in French oak barrels with a carefully calibrated proportion of new oak to refine structure without overpowering fruit expression.
Food Pairings
Perfect with grilled or roasted red meats, beef fillet, herb-crusted lamb, game birds or truffle dishes. Serve at 60–64 °F (16–18 °C). Decant for 1–2 hours when young to fully release complexity.
