Carillon d'Angelus 2020
Bordeaux - Saint-Émilion - 2nd Wine -Carillon d'Angelus 2020 is a remarkable wine, very well-balanced and very elegant. Ripe red fruit aromas, silky tannins with a beautiful finish characterise the tasting of this great bottle. Château Angélus needs no introduction, and is undoubtedly a great bottle to have in your cellar!
The blend for the 2020 vintage is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.
Maturing was 16 months in French oak barrels, 60% of which were new and 40% one-wine.
Second wine of the Château Angélus, this Saint Emilion 2020 is close to its elder, made from younger vines, it will be more quickly accessible.
The 12bouteilles advice : Keep in your cellar but if you do come to open this magnificent bottle, decant it for at least 3 hours, serve the wine chilled at around 18°c. It will go perfectly with your meats and firm cheeses.
