Champagne Jacquesson cuvée 745
Champagne - Champagne - Extra Brut -Champagne Jacquesson 745 is the edition released from the cellars of the House in 2022. It is entirely vinified from the 2017 vintage.
Cuvée 745 is a great champagne of the House whose volumes are produced in limited quantities by the House Jacquesson. Very little dosed (-0,75g/l), it is one of the favorite cuvée, a value for money impossible to circumvent for all the amateurs of Great Champagne.
Tasting notes - Champagne Jacquesson 745
The robe : is a sublime pale yellow, with fine bubbles and a long persistence.
The nose: we can detect notes of brioche, citrus fruits and apples
The palate: We find a mineral attack, complex and very balanced, which leads to a long finish with a lot of finesse and freshness
About the 2017 vintage:
Our harvest in Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers (66%), Avize and Oiry (34%): the winter and spring were exceptionally dry, the beginning of spring was mild but in April destructive frosts ravaged the vineyards, especially the Côte des Blancs. The temperatures then rose and the weather was fine until July. The end of the season is warm but very rainy. We started picking on September 4th and finished on September 13th. A rigorous sorting generates a low volume harvest but allows us to obtain ripe and healthy grapes. The wines are rich and dense and we complete the Cuvée with some reserve wines.
The advice from 12bouteilles: Serve chilled at 10°C - Enjoy it as an aperitif with seafood.
