Champagne Henri Giraud MV17 AŸ GRAND CRU

Champagne - Champagne - Grand Cru - Brut -

The MV17 AŸ Grand Cru from Maison Henri Giraud is a great Champagne, aged in oak barrels from the Argonne forest. "MV: for Multi Vintage", this cuvée is mainly made from the 2017 vintage to which are added juices from the Solera system dating from 1990.

The house wants to promote its champagnes, with the watchwords: use of the original grape varieties, small yields and small containers. Production is therefore very limited for this MV17.

Tasting note:

The dress: finely chiselled in golden and honeyed tones

The nose: gourmet fruit notes (mandarin, apricot, peach), mixed with wonderful floral notes, sometimes even spicy.

The palate reveals fine nuances of pear and cherry, followed by delicate touches of thyme, grey pepper, peach, mandarin, dried white flowers and cocoa. Fruity and greedy, this wine has a saline touch at the end

The advice of 12bouteilles: Aperitif, smoked salmon, foie gras, seafood, noble fish, poultry.
