Champagne Henri Giraud Argonne 2013 AŸ GRAND CRU
Champagne - Champagne - Grand Cru - Brut -The cuvée Argonne 2013 is a Grand Cru Champagne, brut and produced in the town of Aÿ by the famous Champagne house, Henri Giraud.
The wine takes its name from the Argonne forest, located in the Champagne vineyards, which is the source of the wood used throughout the vinification of this great cuvée.
It is a very great Champagne; fruit of an exceptional terroir, vinified with great precision and benefiting from a very great aging potential.
Tasting note:
The dress: yellow with golden reflections
The nose: complex, with notes of candied fruit (pear, quince, plum) but also woody, spicy (nuts, gingerbread)
The palate: vinous, bubbles of great finesse, perfectly balanced and round
12bouteilles advice: Do not hesitate to let it age (another 20 years of aging potential). A sublime accompaniment for a lobster and other noble fish, or caviar.
