Toscana - Super Toscan - Red Wine -Caiarossa is a delicious Italian Tuscan wine, the owners are the same as Château Giscours in Margaux. Produced in the purest expression of the vineyards that make up the estate and shows all the complexity and nobility of the terroirs.
A nose of black fruits dominates with aromas of blackcurrant and redcurrants, the summer was very hot in Tuscany!
On the palate, the wine is supple and generous with round and easy tannins, beautiful freshness and great length.
The 2022 Caiarossa is a blend of 30% Syrah, 20% Cabernet Franc, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 10% Sangiovese, 6% Petit Verdot, 2% Grenache A true expression of nature's luxury.
Caiarossa 2022 was vinified in oak barrels, 30% of which were new barrels, for 11 months for the most delicate grape varieties, Alicante, and up to 20 months for the most powerful, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon. After blending, the wines rested before bottling for 6 months in concrete vats.
The 2022 vintage was rated 97/100 by James Suckling and 96/100 by Decanter. .
