Mâcon-Villages - Terroirs du Mâconnais 2019 - Bret Brothers

Burgundy - Mâcon-Villages - White Wine -

The Mâcon-Villages cuvée "Terroirs du Mâconnais" 2019 is a great white burgundy wine from the Bret Brothers & La Soufrandière estate. It is the estate's only blending cuvée with grapes from Mâcon-Villages, Mâcon-Chaintré, Mâcon-Fuissé, Viré-Clessé, Saint-Véran and Pouilly's. A wine made on Jurassic clay-limestone soils.

Tasting notes :

The robe: Pale yellow with greenish reflections.
The nose: Reveals fruit aromas (plum and citrus fruits).
The palate: with medium acidity, the wine reveals fruity flavours of pear and citrus fruit with a nice roundness.

The advice of 12 bottles: Perfect to accompany your aperitifs or good goat cheese.

Bret Brother is a negoce located in Burgundy, founded in 2001 by two brothers: Jean-Philippe and Jean-Guillaume Bret. Also owners of Domaine de la Soufrandière, they produce great terroir wines from the Mâconnais region but also Beaujolais wines since 2013 which complete the range. Selection of micro plots of old vines, manual harvest, since 2019, 100% of the grapes purchased are certified organic or in conversion. Today, they produce about 50 000 bottles for 14 different vintages on a total of about 8 ha.
