Champagne - Champagne - Rosé wine -This rosé champagne from Bollinger combines the freshness of a rosé and the structure of a Bollinger.
Since the creation of Bollinger Rosé in 2008, the parcels Poirier Saint-Pierre and Montboeuf, in Verzenay, are worked in the same way as the Côte aux Enfants to complete the production. Because only great wines can develop great champagnes.
Blend of 62% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay, 14% Meunier of which more than 85% of Grands and Premiers Crus, maturation time in cellar is more than twice the rules of the Appellation.
This rosé champagne has a nose of red berries with notes of gooseberry, cherry and wild strawberry and a spicy touch, which binds Bollinger Rosé to the style of Special Cuvée. The palate expresses a subtle combination of structure, length and liveliness whose tannic side recalls the addition of red wine; a thin bubble like velvet; scents of wild red berries. There is only 5 to 6% added red wine due to its potency.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Bollinger Rosé marks an intimate and offbeat moment. It is also perfect for a picnic on a summer afternoon, as an aperitif or with a dessert on the fruit and not very sweet. To highlight its unique style, its bouquet, its aromas, we advise you to serve Bollinger Rosé between 8 and 10 ° C.
