Villa Antinori is above all an idea, a way of conceiving wine production: on the one hand, experimentation and evolution, on the other hand, the continuation of tradition. Sangiovese and other complementary grape varieties pay homage to a long-standing brand and a wine with a long tradition: this name is in fact almost a hundred years old, as the wine was first produced in 1928. The family of the Antinori Chianti Classico winery hopes to reinterpret classic Tuscan wines through Riserva products, both refined and elegant and decisive.
Villa Rosso Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva 2011 has a pronounced ruby red color, a nose appears powerful aromas of red fruits, raspberries and blueberries, followed by aromas of oak and spices, in particular of nail of cloves. On the palate, the wine is immediately full of vitality and has great regional characteristics. The tannins are sweet but very real. The aftertaste and aftertaste are fruity, with a light oak color and a long lasting fragrance.
