Toscana - Red Wine -"Villa Antinori" is above all an idea, a way of conceiving wine production: as experimentation and evolution on the one hand, as historical value on the other hand.
"Villa Antinori" is a milestone in the history of wine. this name is, indeed, almost a hundred years old. Its evolution is constant. One goal: the systematic search for an ever higher level of quality. This idea gave birth to two different wines, with a common passion for excellence: Villa Antinori Rosso and Villa Antinori Bianco.
1928 The Marquis Niccolò Antinori creates the Villa Antinori as Chianti Classico, produced as a wine of guard and improving with time. Since that day Villa Antinori has been found in the cellars of the most prestigious ambasades, royal houses, grand hotels and restaurants.
Obtained by a very strict selection of grapes from the best Marchesi Antinori vineyards in Tuscany. After 12 months in French, American and Hungarian barrels, the wine is still aged 8 months in bottles. It is a complex wine, with a good structure but soft and elegant tannins.
