The Aalto vintage 2014, is a Spanish wine from the high Ribera del Duero Valley, located in the heart of Castilla y Leon. This 2014 vintage is perhaps the best year of this last decade. And the notes do not lie, the critic Robert Parker gives him a score of 92.
This wine is a 100% jewel composed of Tinto Fino vines from vines between 40 and 80 years old, as well as a few younger bunches from selected plots. The vinification of Aalto 2014 is 16 months in French and American oak barrels.
This great Spanish wine has a dark purple color, an intense nose of fruit aromas and freshly cut wood. The palate, structured, elegant, very mature with tannins in perfect harmony with acidity. The flavors of liquor, red fruits and roasted coffee blend perfectly with the spicy side of this wine.
