An exceptional terroir in the heart of Sauternes

The vineyards of Clos des Lunes are planted on deep gravel, clay and limestone soils, ensuring excellent drainage and refined aromatic expression. Located between Sauternes and Barsac, the estate benefits from a unique microclimate with morning mists and sunny afternoons, allowing optimal ripeness while preserving natural acidity.

The blend is primarily based on Sémillon, which brings richness and texture, combined with Sauvignon Blanc, which provides freshness and vibrancy. This balance results in wines that are both structured and lively, with notable aromatic complexity.

The estate produces several cuvées—Lune d’Argent, Lune Blanche and Lune d’Or—each reflecting a different level of selection and concentration, while maintaining the signature freshness and minerality of Clos des Lunes.
