Fitou Wines
Fitou, the oldest cru of Languedoc
Between the Mediterranean and the Corbières mountains, the Fitou appellation is the oldest AOC of Languedoc (1932). Its unique terroir, split between coastal and inland zones, provides remarkable richness and diversity. Here, Mediterranean sunshine and soils of schist, limestone and clay create wines with bold character.
Intense and generous reds
Fitou red wines, produced exclusively within the appellation, are made from Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Deep and structured, they reveal aromas of black fruits, spices, liquorice and wild herbs, supported by firm tannins. Over time, their structure softens, unveiling complex and elegant notes. These powerful wines pair beautifully with grilled meats, game or aged cheeses.
