Domaine Jean Teiller in Menetou-Salon: Organic Wines from a Loire Valley Terroir

Domaine Jean Teiller, located in Menetou-Salon in the heart of the Loire Valley, stands out for its commitment to organic viticulture and its deep respect for terroir. This 18-hectare family estate, run for three generations, produces certified organic wines that reflect the authenticity of the land and the purity of the fruit.

The estate's vines are planted across Parassy, Aubinges, and Vignoux-sous-les-Aix, on Jurassic clay-limestone soils. This unique terroir, combined with a temperate continental climate, brings precision and minerality to the Sauvignon Blanc and elegance to the Pinot Noir. Each plot is vinified separately to capture its individual character. In the cellar, the approach is low-intervention: indigenous yeasts, natural fermentations, aging on lees in tanks or barrels, with no artificial additions.

Today, the estate is led by Patricia, Jean-Daniel and their daughter Marjorie Teiller, who continue the legacy with dedication and a forward-thinking philosophy rooted in respect for nature.
