Pierre Ramonet is at the origin of this mythical domain of the Côte de Beaune, it was created in 1920 in Chassagne Montrachet. Today it is recognized in the world as one of the most sparkling and respected domains of Burgundy. Family estate for 3 generations. Jean Claude and Noël, the grandsons, have made it possible for the Ramonet estate to become famous. The vineyard is located between Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet and extends over 17 hectares, with no less than 24 appellations on exceptional terroirs. Chardonnay and Aligoté are the main grape varieties occupying 10 hectares of the production, we also find pinot noir and gamay dedicated to the red wines of the domain. The estate has a heritage of exceptional parcels, such as Les Caillerets or Les Morgeots, and, of course, some precious rows of Chardonnay on the mythical Bâtard-Montrachet, Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet and on the famous Montrachet. The white wines combine freshness, vivacity and amplitude while the reds are powerful and concentrated offering a good potential for ageing.
